In August 2009, Jeff Smith and Rush "Bud" Eichholtz bought the Lakeview & Jackson Center funeral Homes from Dennis Sanford (who acquired both locations that were formerly Van Horn Funeral Homes, and is still currently on the Eichholtz staff).
